An Introduction

For those who are reading my other blog A Rev. Life you are familiar with my style of writing and my general thought processes.  This blog will take an intentional direction towards my musing on God, his Word and his activity in my life and those around me.  It may be as simple as a short post on something I have been thinking about, you may find my words are contemplative as I share about a passage of the bible that I have wrestled over, and you will also find a few overviews of messages I have shared in our youth ministry meetings and some of my Sunday messages.


The purpose of this blog is not for me to ramble on about what I am reading and studying, but to provide an avenue for others to find answers, gather a few teaching moments and hopefully grow closer to God.  Feel free to post any questions you may have about the topics and issues I discuss here, and even about a passage that you are having a hard time understanding.  I will do my best to provide insight and solid truth for each question, but most likely you will simply get my opinion, which I admit, is not always right.
